as you read this, i’m up in san francisco, prepping for a pop-up shop brought to you by my super marché and elsie green along with a few friends. on saturday, march 23rd we’re turning lux studios into a very eclectic ‘le petit appartement’ where you can shop the entire apartment filled with vintage treasures we’ve scoured from france. if you’re in the area, please do come by and see us — i’d love to meet you! until then, this week’s friday finds are all very eclectic, too. have a great weekend one and all!
xo, victoria
- i so admire this very colorful space. the various shades of paint seem to add new dimension to the room — it’s a rather alice in wonderland-like look of falling down a beautiful pastel rabbit hole.
- i still keep seeing sculptures decorating the internet, and i love this pretty painted ceramic lady because she’s so unique and delicate looking.
- i quite like this vintage bust too, because he’s paired in such a modern space with a playful pink color palette. i’m going to hunt for more busts like this when i’m next in france for super marché.
- my tiny atlas has a brand new book launch coming our way and i for one, cannot wait to see it! looks like they’re coming to NYC for a launch party on march 27th at the aperature foundation, so if you’re in the area, i would highly recommend making a date with it!
- L.A.-based interior designer and prop stylist brady tolbert asked instagram the question “left or right?”, and quite honestly, i couldn’t decide on which of these guest rooms i liked best, so i said “both”! how about you?
- i love a good color pairing and this pale pink and olive green color combination of throw pillows had me at hello. olive green is such a blast from my childhood past, but paired with pink it’s got a fresh new look!
- who doesn’t want ‘to go to there’ like right this minute? milk decoration is one of my very favorite sources of french inspiration and their instagram feed is full of inspiration, too. this image of the amalfi coast is just one big giant sigh.
- this is such a pretty little nook, is it not? the socialite family always has the best home tours and this one doesn’t disappoint, either. love this vintage velvet beauty — the whole corner just oozes charm.
